Summer Camp Themes & Experiences

Each week, children will engage in thoughtfully curated experiences designed to spark creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and confidence. Themes are adapted to be age-appropriate and integrate elements of art, science, movement, language, and hands-on exploration.

These are the current program themes:

  • Crafty Campers

Children explore a variety of art materials and techniques through open-ended projects that encourage creativity and self-expression. From building and designing to painting, collaging, and sculpting, this week focuses on problem-solving, fine motor development, and creative confidence while celebrating the joy of making something uniquely their own.

  • Seusstastic Adventures

Seusstastic Adventures celebrates the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss through storytelling, creative art, movement, and dramatic play. Inspired by playful language and rhythmic storytelling, this theme encourages early literacy as children explore sounds, patterns, rhyming, and expressive communication in a joyful, hands-on way—fostering self-expression, imagination, and a lifelong love of books.

  • Theatre Week

Children are introduced to the world of performance through music, movement, storytelling, and dramatic play. This week supports social-emotional growth, confidence, and collaboration as children explore self-expression, take turns, and participate in group performances and imaginative role-play.

  • Mad Science

Young scientists investigate the wonders of the world through hands-on experiments and exploration. Activities focus on observation, prediction, cause and effect, and problem-solving using developmentally appropriate materials. Curiosity leads the way as children explore how things work through fun, guided discovery.

  • Crayola Exploration

Color, texture, and creativity take center stage as children experiment with a wide range of art materials. This theme encourages sensory exploration, color mixing, and creative risk-taking while strengthening fine motor skills and visual expression.

  • World Cup: Let’s Do Everything with Soccer

This active, movement-focused theme introduces children to teamwork, coordination, and cooperative play through age-appropriate soccer activities and games. Children explore concepts such as sportsmanship, collaboration, and gross motor development while staying active and engaged in a fun, inclusive environment.

Parent Reviews

By far the best learning center for my 3 yr old. I can already tell a difference on what she has learned. I am truly grateful that I choose Brazos Learning Montessori School.

"Our son has been enrolled with them since February 2022. Our child has learned so much and has been more social since enrolling. The staff is very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend."
